Plumbing Inspections are not the same as Building Inspections
Building Inspections are conducted to check the structural integrity of the house itself covering the interior and exterior including the roof and under-floor spaces. While they look for structural defects which minimises the risk of “unforeseen damages” down the road, the inspections are visual and they cannot see what problems lie beneath such as in the drains system.
A plumbing Inspection uses a drain camera down the line which can identify any issues before they becomes a problem and gives you peace of mind in your new home. It will also identify the longevity of one of the main household assets – your hot water system allowing you to plan ahead for the replacement or maintenance required.
